Short version: I got tired of resume "scorers" that give you a meaningless number — and never show their work.
I'm an independent developer. ATSCheck started from a frustration with every "resume scorer" I tried: you paste your resume, it gives you a number, and then it stops. No proof. No explanation. You can't see how the machine read your resume, so you can't fix anything.
So I built the opposite
- The machine-eye scan runs on your own device. Contact info, dates, section structure, cliché phrases — checked instantly by deterministic rules in your browser, zero AI cost, zero data leaving your computer.
- The AI report shows its work. Every matched keyword is linked to the exact line in your resume where it appears. Every gap is a specific sentence you can fix, with a rewrite example.
- It never invents facts. The AI is instructed to only reference what your resume actually contains. No fake metrics, no made-up projects.
What we will never do
- We never store your resume, job description or reports on our servers.
- We never sell your data. No ad trackers on this site.
- Payments are one-time and processed by Creem — no subscription, no card data on our side.
